arrow  Crider Kids First

The Partnership with Families programs work with the highest need children and youth challenged with serious emotional disturbance in Franklin, Lincoln, St. Charles, and Warren counties. These programs involve aggressive outreach to the identified children and youth and their families. Key components of the Partnership with Families programs include active family involvement and support, treatment planning, medical, social and educational supports, direct services to the child and family including coaching and modeling of specific behaviors and responses. Care coordinators and Parent Partners who work with the family and link the child and family to additional services in the community.

Crider Kids First is a community based prevention services program. This program provides divorcing parents help in understanding the emotional issues faced by children during divorce and gives them the tools to ensure that children rebound from divorce without unnecessary pressures. Couples, who can no longer live together, find that they still must remain attached by their individual bonds to their children. The Crider Kids First program is one session, two-hours in length. These programs provide the first step in ensuring the best outcome for children as they learn to live with the divorce of their parents.
