American Association of Suicidology

The American Association of Suicidology is dedicated to the understanding and prevention of suicide. AAS promotes research, public awareness programs, education and training for professionals and volunteers. In addition, it serves as a national clearinghouse for information on suicide.

 

Community Efforts

Community Council of St. Charles County

Community Council of St. Charles County is community health and human services networking agency with over 100 members primarily comprised of non-profit organizations, concerned individuals, groups, businesses, service clubs, lodges, labor unions, church groups, governmental and educational institutions, hospitals, and clinics, etc.

Putting Kids First Educational Effort

"Putting Kids First" is a St. Charles county wide educational effort. The purpose of this effort is to educate the community of the needs of youth in St. Charles County, begin a dialogue with the citizens of the community, and spur action on what can be done to help the youth of our County.

I Care About Kids

Proposition 1, “I Care About Kids”, is a countywide initiative on the August 6th ballot. By voting “YES” on this measure, you would be creating a Community Children’s Services Fund for St. Charles County. Local agencies and organizations are not able to meet the growing demand for services largely because of the tremendous growth that our county has experienced over the past 20 years.

The Anxiety Disorders Association of America (ADAA) is the only national, non-profit membership organization dedicated to informing the public, healthcare professionals and legislators that anxiety disorders are real, serious and treatable. Attention Deficit Disorder Helpline

MHA of Greater St. Louis
