Crider Center's approach
to health care is to offer fully integrated services to
its patients. Mental health and primary health case needs
are addressed together by the medical staff at Crider Health
Center.

Health Services
Who can receive
services through Crider Health Center?
Crider Health Center is the administrative agent for the Comprehensive
Psychiatric Services Division of the Missouri Department of Mental
Health in St. Charles, Lincoln, Franklin, and Warren Counties. Any
citizen of the four counties may be eligible to receive services
through Crider Health Center. Crider Center's primary clientele
are under insured and uninsured adults, children, youth and families
who are at or below poverty level. What services an individual
qualifies for is determined upon the completion of an individualized
assessment.

Children:
Serving children, youth, and adolescents
from preschool till the age of 18 years through; Early Intervention,
Prevention, School-Based, and Home-Based Services for children
and youth at high risk of developing a mental health problem
and those diagnosed with a serious emotional disturbance.

Clinics:
Providing services including psychiatric
evaluation and treatment, medication management, and case
management for those with a serious mental illness. Services
are provided on a sliding fee scale determined by each individual's
situation.

Adult:
Rehabilitation, Community Support, and Residential Services
for adults with a serious mental illness.

|
|
Crisis
Intervention: Providing debriefing for particularly
stressful events such as multiple casualty incidents, the
death of a child, the death of a co-worker, traumatic incidents
involving critical media coverage, failure of rescue efforts,
officer involved shootings and other events that are unusually
emotionally stressful. |

Crider Center is supported through a variety of funding
sources.

40,000 individuals and families in our four-county service district.
