Crider
Health Center has served as the administrative agent for the
Comprehensive Psychiatric Services Division of the Missouri
Department of Mental Health for residents of Franklin, Lincoln,
Warren, and St. Charles Counties since 1979. Crider Health Center
operates two rehabilitation centers, Headway in St. Charles
and Harmony in Washington, as well as provides community support
services through the Franklin County and Wentzville Community
Support Services Programs and operates a adult residential program
through Pathways. The rehabilitation centers, called clubhouses,
serve over 200 people challenged with severe and persistent
mental illnesses and the community support services programs
work with over 300 adults with a severe mental illness.

Residential
- Pathways
The Pathways Residential Care Facility II program, located on two
acres in O'Fallon, Missouri, is 17-bed enhanced supervision residential
care facility for adult residents of St. Charles, Lincoln, Franklin,
and Warren Counties who have serious and persistent mental illness
and who need a stable, structured environment. The goal of the Pathways
RCF II program is to provide an open, self-sufficient community
life environment which will address the varied needs of the program's
adult residents.
Clubhouses
To provide a base for client socialization, offer vocational skill-building
opportunities, supportive housing, and transportation to medical
appointments, employment sites, grocery shopping, etc.
Community
Support Services
Community Support Services is our most intensive level of outpatient
service. The purpose of Community Support is to help achieve each
consumer ‘s community adjustment, which may include teaching
community living skills, providing treatment planning, case management
tailored to the need of the consumer, crisis intervention to provide
timely access to treatment, and coordinated psychiatric and medical
treatment.
